Near the Salisaw River Bridge
Title:  Near the Salisaw River Bridge
Description:  PREX 1612 pulls a single covered hopper of lime from the US Lime Company St. Clair facility at Marble City OK. The old bridge must be in ill repair, since the engineer takes his one car train along the tracks at about 2 - 3 miles per hour. I can literally walk faster. The engineer engages the throttle for a few seconds and then releases it, several times a minute. The train barely creeps along, agonizingly slow, towards the connection with the KCS.
